First Ticket Sale: Please Read!

Dear County Folk,

Can you believe that in just 12 short days, our 2026 event tickets go on sale? It's true!

At precisely 6:00PM on April 11th, the first wave of Hobbits Hoedown tickets will become available for purchase and we want to make sure you're as prepared as possible as not to get overwhelmed on the day.


Please read through the following information prior to the ticket sale to be best informed. All of this information is also available on the website, and also the Humanitix event itself.


When are the ticket sales? How many are there?

We do two ticket waves for our event, the n

ext one will be on May 11th. The first wave is always the largest, but the second is always there for attendees who were busy during the first.


Is there anything I should be aware of before buying a ticket?

Please revise the event schedule below, If you cannot be at the event by the time sign in closes at 3:00PM on Friday 20th Nov, we cannot accommodate you. After sign in closes, no cars are to be driven on site, all of our volunteers will be pre-occupied running the event and will not be available to sign you in. Please do not purchase a ticket if you are unable to be on site by 3:00PM Friday 20th November.


How many tickets can I buy?

There is a cap of 4 tickets per purchase, including children. To keep it fair for all ticket buyers, we recommend larger groups of 4+ split into different purchases.


How much are tickets?

Adult Dormitory Ticket: $375.00pp

Adult Camping Ticket: $275.00pp

U12 Ticket: Free! (Limited)


What does purchasing a ticket get me?

If you've purchased a dormitory ticket, your ticket gets you catered meals, the enjoyment of wonderful hoedown decorations and event activities, and a bunk in a dormitory to use over the weekend, you must bring your own bedding! If you've purchased a camping ticket, your ticket gives you all of the above but instead of a bunk, you'll be allocated a plot where you can set up your own camping equipment for the weekend.


Do I need to know which family I'd like to be in?

YES. Please please please, read through the Character information on the website and select your preference prior to purchasing a ticket. There is no minimum or maximum on family numbers.

Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately as we are non-profit and all proceeds do go into making the event run we are unable to refund your ticket. Tickets are however, exchangeable up until 3 days prior to the event. After this time all hands will be bumping onto site and unable to coordinate ticket exchanges.

In the event of an extreme or catastrophic fire rating day, the site is unable to host our event and the event will be re-scheduled. Please refer to the refund and cancellation policy on this Humanitix event for more information.
